Canvas prints can be a great way to display your photos and memories as well as decorate your home or office. The resulting image has the look and feel of a painting instead of an ordinary photograph. VanTuil Photo and Imaging can print from your existing photos or from digital files. We can produce canvas prints in any size from small to large, including 8x10, 11x14, 16x20, 20x24 and even up to 42x96 inches. One-week production time is typical but requests for faster service can almost always be accommodated.
One popular and economical way to present images is Gallery Wrapping, where an image is wrapped around the edges of the stretcher frame. Your photo is printed and stretched ready to hang, eliminating the additional cost of framing. Different thicknesses of stretcher frame are available from ?? inch to 1 ?? inches to achieve the desired look. If your subject is close to the edge of the photo we can modify the file so the subject isn???t cut off when the canvas is stretched. Standard canvas stretching, where the edges of the stretcher frame are white canvas, is also available. Using this method the canvas would need to be framed, a service that is also available at VanTuils. In both techniques, the prints are sprayed with a clear coating to protect them and insure their longevity.
All photo files can be sent to us electronically but it is probably best to have a discussion on one of our many options for displaying your photos in new and interesting ways, by stopping at our Meadville or Erie location or giving us a call at (814) 336-5315 (Meadville) or (814) 453-6601 (Erie)
